Bassingham Scout Group

Our Trustees play a vital role in supporting Bassingham Scout Group. The Trustees meet quarterly to discuss important matters, oversee the running of the Group, and ensure we are always operating in the best interests of our young people.

What do Trustees do?

• Oversee the Group’s finances and resources

• Ensure we comply with legal and Scout Association requirements

• Support the Group Lead Volunteer and leadership team

• Help set the direction and priorities for the Group

• Make sure our activities are safe, inclusive, and accessible

Trustees come from all walks of life and bring a variety of skills and experience. You don’t need to have a Scouting background—just a willingness to help and a passion for supporting young people.
